Following the same idea of offering all the necessary tools into a single application, Freemake Audio Converter is more than a simple audio converter.

From the same interface you can convert audio to MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A, OGG formats or  convert audio for MP3 players such as: iPod, iPhone, iPad, PSP. If you hate for any reason using iTunes to send music to your iPod, this app can do the same thing. Besides the conversion main objective, with Freemake Audio Converter you can also extract audio from video files (DVD, H.264, AVI, MPEG, MP4, MKV, DIVX, MOV, WMV, VOB, 3GP, RM, QT, FLV), and even join several audio files into a single one.

Simple as it may look like, the interface will cause some frustration if you want to perform additional tasks besides the conversion one. That’s because it uses a classic Windows design in which the user needs to explore deeper in order to obtain other options. But why should we criticize this comprehensive audio tool, when you get all the necessary conversion features for free?

The developers already announced that this bundle will grow even bigger by introducing two new major features: RIP Audio CD’s and create Audio CD’s from MP3′s.
